ERGON TECHNIQUE was included as a therapeutic intervention in a study by the European University of Cyprus on pain and functionality in scapula dyskinesis and rotator cuff related shoulder pain. Results were published in a poster at the World Physiotherapy Conference held online (based in Dubai) on 9-11 April 2021.
The purpose of the study was to investigate the effect of therapeutic exercise in combination with myofascial release with IASTM tools (ERGON Tools) in scapula dyskinesia in patients with shoulder pain. Results showed that an exercise program combined with myofascial release achieved greater improvement in ROM, strength and functionality over 90 degrees flexion.
